On the 20th November 2025, GTR Africa 2025 London brought together diverse professionals from across the trade finance ecosystems in Africa, with a shared purpose: to examine the evolving dynamics shaping the African continent’s commercial landscape.
A representative of The Access Bank Malta, Ms. Aurélie Cailleau, Assistant Manager of the Relationship Management Unit was in attendance, demonstrating the Group’s commitment to supporting Africa focused trade flows and international partnerships.
A key focus of the conference centred on strengthening the capacity of African local banks, with discussions addressing correspondent banking constraints, compliance requirements and the importance of risk-sharing to expand trade finance deployment.
By bringing together 535 delegates, 277 companies and 61 speakers, the event offered valuable networking opportunities, enabling meaningful exchanges with banks, corporates and industry peers, and reinforcing the importance of collaboration in supporting Africa’s growing role in global trade.
The Access Bank Malta was honoured to take part in the event, showcasing its services, its positioning within the Access Bank Group and its growing presence in the sector, while engaging with partners and organisations active in Africa-related trade activity.
