The Access Bank Malta Limited (‘the Bank’) is a member of the Malta Depositor Compensation Scheme (‘the Scheme’) established under the Depositor Compensation Scheme Regulations, 2015 as may be amended from time to time (‘the Regulations’). In the unlikely event, a bank participating in the Scheme is unable to meet its obligations towards depositors or has otherwise suspended payment in the manner established by LN383 of 2015, the Scheme pays compensation to the Bank’s depositors up to a maximum amount established by law (currently set at a maximum of EUR100,000 or equivalent per depositor).
