The Access Bank Malta Limited is pleased to have participated in a landmark syndicated trade finance facility arranged by Crown Agents Bank for Vista Bank Group, alongside its Parent The Access Bank UK Limited and The Access Bank UK – Paris Branch, supporting trade-related activity across key African markets.
The dual-currency facility, valued at EUR 105 million and USD 21 million, was arranged by Crown Agents Bank and marks the first publicly announced trade-related syndicated loan to an African bank in 2026. The transaction brought together a consortium of international lenders to strengthen access to liquidity and support economic activity across the region.
As part of the lending syndicate, The Access Bank Malta Limited continues to demonstrate its commitment to facilitating cross-border trade, supporting financial institutions, and connecting African markets to international capital.
The transaction reflects the importance of strong partnerships in expanding access to trade finance and reinforces the Bank’s role in supporting sustainable growth across Africa and beyond, in line with the Access Group’s vision of becoming the world’s most respected African bank.
